Nissan has opened up bookings for its halo car the GT-R in India. The latest MY2017 car will come to India with a launch expected later this month.
Nissan GT-R or fondly called Godzilla is all set for an official launch in India. The sports car in its current guise was launched in 2007 and the company has been regularly updating it for the past 9 years. The car that will come to India is the MY2017 car with more power, added equipment and a revamped interior. The car has been officially opened for pre-bookings at a booking amount of Rs. 25 lakhs. The 2017 Nissan GT-R is powered by a 3.6-litre V6 24-valve twin-turbocharged engine that produces 570 PS at 6,800 RPM and 637 Nm of peak torque. It comes mated to a state of the art 4-wheel drive system and a 6-speed dual clutch gearbox. This engine is handbuilt by the company’s Takumi engineers in Japan. Thanks to the 4-wheel drive grip, the GT-R accelerates to 100kmph in under 3 seconds. The Nissan GT-R will be offered with fresh colors inside and out, and will come in the European spec Premium Edition. Available colours for the new Nissan GT-R are Katsura Orange (pictured), Vibrant Red, Pearl Black, Storm White, Daytona Blue, Gun Metallic and Ultimate Silver with matching leather trim inside.
