TVS Unveils Apache RTR 160 Blaze of Black Dark Edition Starting at Rs. 1.20 Lakh

TVS Motor Company introduces the ‘Blaze of Black’ Dark edition for both the Apache RTR 160 and the Apache RTR 160 4V.

TVS Motor Company has introduced the ‘Blaze of Black’ dark edition for both the RTR 160 and the RTR 160 4V. Priced at Rs. 1.20 lakh for the RTR 160 and Rs. 1.25 lakh for the RTR 160 4V (ex-showroom, Delhi), these models sport a sleek black finish, featuring a black TVS Apache stallion logo on the tank and a fully blacked-out exhaust. Beyond the new color scheme, both bikes retain their previous specifications. They are equipped with three riding modes, the TVS SmartXonnect system with voice assist, and LED headlights.

The RTR 160 2V retains its 159.7 cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, with power and torque output adjusting based on the selected riding mode. Three modes are available: Rain, Urban, and Sport. Rain and Urban modes deliver 13.14 bhp at 8,000 rpm, increasing to 15.82 bhp in Sport mode. Similarly, torque output follows a similar pattern. Additionally, the top speed is reduced by 10 kmph in Rain and Urban modes, down to 97 kmph.

On the flip side, the RTR 160 4V features a 160 cc single-cylinder oil-cooled engine, producing 17.35 bhp at 9,250 rpm and 14.73 Nm of torque, paired with a five-speed gearbox. Similar to the RTR 160, it also offers three riding modes.
