TVS Motor has has launched the updated Raider 125 SmartXonnect priced at Rs.99,990 at a specially curated Meta Verse Media event online. The TVS Raider 125 is now available in three options to choose from – Drum, Disc, and SmartXonnect. The motorcycle is available in Wicked Black and Fiery Yellow body color options.
In terms of looks and design the TVS Raider SmartXonnect looks same as the regular version, prominent design elements being the LED headlight, gaming joystick like handlebar, upsweept exhaust, dual step seat etc. The biggest addition to the TVS Raider 125 SmartXconnect is the 5 inch TFT console that comes with Bluetooth connectivity and runs on the TVS’ SmartXonnect. Using this screen you can access calls, SMS, notifications, voice assistance, navigation guidance and other updates. This system also helps you reach the nearest fuel station via directions on the TFT screen if you are low on fuel.
Powering the TVS Raider SmartXonnect is the same 124.8cc single-cylinder that makes 11.2 bhp and a torque of 11.2 Nm mates to a five-speed gearbox. The motorcycle continues to come with front telescopic forks, adjustable rear monoshock, front disc, and rear drum brake. Priced at Rs 99,990 (ex-showroom Delhi), the SmartXonnect variant costs about Rs 14,000 more than the drum model and around Rs 6,000 more than the disc brake model and rivals the Honda SP125, Hero Glamour 125, and Bajaj Pulsar 125.
