The Alphard is an premium MPV thats globally sold by Toyota. In size it appears nearly twice that of the Innova and hence can also termed as the Innovas Daddy. The Alphard has a strikingly bold dimensions, a huge chrome lined grill on the front makes for a lot of aggressive styling to this MPV. The headlights are all LED with DRL in them. The sides get automatic electrical opening and closing slide doors. This MPV stands pretty tall and wide. The sides have a lot of glass area making the MPV look roomy which it actually is. The rear resembles a bit of the Fortuner with similarly styled LED tail lights. The boot lid is all electric and opens very wide and tall and also gets a sharp spoiler.

On the inside you have tons of space and a extremely premium class interiors. The cabin is styled in typical Toyota styling but the level of comfort is extremely high. Lots of wood inserts and suede leather upholstery in here. The highlight of the cabin is the middle row captain seats which are all electric and look plus feel just like an airline Buisness class seat. These seats also come with high armrest and extendable leg support that extend out when the seats are reclined back.

The vehicle on display here is the Alphard 350. Globally the Premium MPV comes with a lot of engine options, 2.5L Hybrid, 3.5L Petrol, 2.5L Petrol to name a few. The Alphard 350 on display is the one powered by an 3456cc V6 Petrol engine with 270 BHP of power and 340NM of torque on it mated to a 7-speed CVT automatic transmission.

The Toyota Alphard is an pretty exciting Premium MPV we think and shud be perfect for India where more car per car is the mantra. We hope hope our friends at Toyota reading this take this positive feedback and add it to their list.

The Toyota Alphard sells at around 45 Lakh abroad for the entry trim.
