Tata Motors has launched the Gold Edition of the Safari days before the start of the IPL 2021’s concluding chapter. The Limited Edition Tata Safari Gold is priced at Rs. 21.89 Lakh also comes ahead of the Indian festive season. The Gold Edition of the SUV will be available in two colours — White Gold and Black Gold. The SUV will make its first appearance at the VIVO IPL 2021 happening in Dubai. Tata Motors had also released a teaser on September 17 this the Gold Edition of the SUV on Twitter and said, “Experience the feeling of being in an oasis in the middle of the desert. Coming soon only at VIVO IPL 2021, UAE.” Tata Motors had also sent out a tweet that said, “All-New SAFARI is the official partner of Vivo IPL 2021. Get ready to reclaim your life with this legendary partnership, it’s going to be a thrilling one we bet.”
Furthermore, keeping the on-going pandemic in mind, Tata Motors has introduced the ‘Safari Gold Hit Challenge’ in this season. For the same, every time a batsman hits a six and the ball lands on either the car or the car display podium or the Safari #Gold LED commercial board, Tata Motors will contribute an amount of Rs 2 lakhs to The Akshaya Patra Foundation, a renowned NGO doing outstanding work towards Covid – 19 relief throughout India.
The Tata Safari Gold comes loaded with features like oyster white diamond quilted genuine leather seats, with ventilation on both two rows of seats, wireless charger, air purifier, Android Auto & Apple Carplay over Wifi, R18 Charcoal Black Alloy Wheels, subtle elegant gold embellishments on the exteriors and the interiors.
There are two color options on the Safari Gold Edition, The Black Gold colour option gets a black exterior, which is said to be inspired by coffee beans and on the inside gets a dark marble finish for the dashboard with gold accents around the AC vents, instrument cluster, door pads etc. The white Safari Gold comes with premium Frost White paint scheme with contrast black and white inserts with black painted roof. On the inside the dashboard comes with Mont Blanc Marble finish with golden inserts all around the cabin.
The Tata Safari is built on OMEGARC architecture, which in turn is derived from Land Rover’s legendary D8 platform. Tata Motors claims that the Safari possesses the perfect combination of design and performance, comfortable interiors, top-notch safety and most up-to-date connected car technology. Tata Safari is available in six- and seven-seater options and has a panoramic sunroof, 8.8-inch floating island infotainment system, and a host of safety features like advanced ESP with 14 functionalities, disc brakes and electronic parking brake.
