Tata Tigor XM is the new mid level variant and comes with nine additional features over the base variant.
Tata Motors launched the Tigor Styleback earlier this year at a tempting price tag. Available both in petrol and diesel engine this car impressed us thoroughly when we drove it in Delhi few months ago. The company has now launched a new mid level XM trim level of the car just as the Indian festive season commences. This variant sits in between the XE and XT trims and has been priced attractively at Rs. 4.99 lakhs ex-showroom for the petrol manual. The Tigor XM gets nine vital features over the base XE variant.

The Tata Tigor XM comes loaded with features like a manual central locking with key, power windows for front and rear, speed dependent auto door locks, follow me home lamps, LED fuel gauge, full fabric seat upholstery, interior lamps with theatre dimming and full wheel covers. It will be available in petrol and diesel fuel types with manual transmission.The new variant will be available across all Tata Motors authorised dealerships, starting September 15, 2017, in a phased manner.

According to Mr. Vivek Srivatsa – Head – Marketing, PVBU, Tata Motors, “We are constantly working towards filling in spaces in each segment and TIGOR XM is our response to this growing segment. As per our turnaround strategy, we are working with a renewed focus and energy to improve our market share and bring products faster to market.” The Tata Tigor is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol and diesel engine. Both are mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The car gets some class leading features like the great sounding Harman sound system.
