Tata Motors Globally Unveils the E-VISION Sedan Concept at the Geneva Motor Show

Tata Motors is celebrating its 20th stint at the ongoing Geneva Motor Show this year. For the 20th year for Tata Motors at Geneva the Indian car maker Globally Unveiled the E-VISION Sedan Concept a short while back along with the European Premiere for the H5X and the 45X Concepts.

The ‘H5X concept that was showcased at the Auto Expo Delhi which is a 5-seater premium SUV developed on the new ‘Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced’ Architecture in collaboration with Jaguar Land Rover. The second showcase was the ‘45X concept that was also globally unveiled art the Delhi Auto Expo, a premium hatchback. The 45X will be built on the versatile Agile Light Flexible Advanced’ Architecture which is capable of developing multiple body types.

The H5X and the 45X concepts are globally benchmarked cars that will create future international business opportunities for Tata Motors. Tata Motors says “Developed under the new Impact 2.0 design language, these concepts offer extraordinary exteriors, luxurious interiors, intuitive features, future ready connectivity and infotainment, meeting the growing aspirations of the customers.”

The Showstopper from Tata Motors was the Global Unveil of the E-VISION Sedan Concept. This is a premium electric sedan concept that is based on the Omega platform that it shares with the H5X. The new EVISION Sedan concept features the new Impact Design 2.0 which seems a lot bold, aggressive and catchy in terms of appearance. The front has a dominating impact design grill, LED headlights and a dynamic looking nose. Sides appear stooping with flowing roofline and scooped door lines. The rear has a Sport-back kind of tail with integrated catchy LED tail lights and horizontal character lines on the boot.

On the inside the interiors come in bright beige colour that makes the cabin look a lot larger and roomier. The Concept gets a  retractable central infotainment screen. Instrumentation is taken care by a large LED screen with digital dials. Slim AC vents come with brushed metal surrounds and lots of wood inserts around to make the car look and feel ultra premium. The steering wheel gets a flat bottom design with leather wrapping with wood, gloss inserts  and paddle shifters. The Tata E-VISION Concept also gets a glass panoramic roof.
