A subsidiary of Tata Motors, TAL Manufacturing Solutions, has now launched two variants of the much awaited TAL Brabo robot, with a payload of 2 kilos and 10 kilos. The robots are priced between INR 5 to 7 lakhs. The TAL Brabo is an indigenously developed ‘Made in India’ solution, created in order to cater to micro, small, and medium sized enterprises along with large scale manufacturers that require automated solutions for manufacturing with competitive costs.
The designing and styling took place in-house at TAL Manufacturing and Tata Elxsi respectively. Some of the critical components of the robot were manufactured by Tata AutoComp. The TAL Brabo robot was conceptualised to complement human workforce and perform repetitive, high volume, dangerous and time consuming tasks.
