Skoda Octavia Corporate Edition Launched with prices starting at Rs.15.49 Lakh
Skoda India has announced today the launch of of the Corporate Edition for the Octavia sedan at an introductory starting price of Rs. 15.49 Lakh Ex showroom pan India.
The Skoda Ocatavia Corporate Edition becomes the base variant for the lineup and will be available in both petrol and diesel engine options. The Diesel version is priced at Rs. 16.99 lah Ex showroom pan India. It maybe recalled that Skoda had also launched the Corporate Edition for the Superb last year. Skoda is offering the Corporate Edition Octavia to its existing customers exclusively who would want to upgrade from the Rapid sedan. The Skoda Octavia Corporate Edition will be available in only Candy White body color option.
On the feature list the Skoda Octavia Corporate Edition comes similarly loaded to the Style variant with Quadra headlights with LED DRLs, ‘C’ shaped LED tail lights, 16 inch Velorum alloy wheels. On the inside the Corporate Edition gets the 6.5 inch touchscreen infotainment system with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, dual zone climate control, beige upholstry with Onyx ivory dashboard. In terms of safety the Corporate Edition comes loaded with features such as Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Break-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assistant (HBA), Anti Slip Regulation (ASR), Motor Speed Regulation (MSR), Electronic Differential Lock (EDL), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), and Multi-Collision Braking (MKB).
Powering the Skoda Octavia Corporate Edition are the choice of two engine options, a 1.4-litre TSI petrol or the 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine. The petrol TSI engine makes 148 bhp of power and 248 Nm of peak torque while the TDI diesel motor makes 141 bhp and hits out 320 Nm of torque. Transmission options on both the engines if the six-speed manual gearbox and Skoda claims a fuel efficiency of 16.7kmpl on the petrol and 21kmpl on the diesel.
