Royal Enfield Launches the Thunderbird X with 350X priced at Rs. 1.56 Lakh & 500X priced at Rs 1.98 Lakh
Royal Enfield has launched the Thunderbird X today pan India. The Royal Enfield Thunderbird X is available as the 350X and the 500X. The Thunderbird 350X is priced at Rs. 1.56 Lakh & Thunderbird 500X priced at Rs 1.98 Lakh Ex Showroom Delhi.
The Thunderbird X adds to the Thunderbird lineup of motorcycle from Royal Enfield which was initially launched in 2002 and has made its mark in the cruiser motorcycle segment. The Thunderbird X duo come with fresh styling and added features while the engine options remain unchanged as compared to the Thunderbird.
The Thunderbird 350X and the 500X come with a shorter handlebars, all new nine spoke alloy wheels with tubeless tyres, single seat, blacked out fork covers and exhaust and a blacked out headlamp housing. The motorcycles also get LED daytime running lamp integrated into the headlamp and an LED tail lamp on the package.
The power plants remain the same as the the regular Thunderbird. The 350X gets its power from the 346 cc single-cylinder engine which is air-cooled making 19.8 bhp @ 5,250 rpm with 28 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm mated to a five-speed gearbox. The 500X gets its power from the 499 cc single-cylinder engine that makes 27.2 bhp @ 5,250 rpm and 41.3 Nm of torque @ 4,000 rpm also mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Thunderbird 350X and the Thunderbird 500X come in new body colour options which are Drifter Blue, Getaway Orange, Roving Red and Whimsical White.

The regular Thunderbird is priced at around Rs.8000 lesser than the TBX making the TBX a far better alternative for the Thunderbird buyer.
