Renault to celebrate ‘World Environment Day’ with its customers
Renault, the car maker from France, is one of the fastest growing automobile brands in India. The entry level hatch Kwid, from the stables of Renault, is giving tough competition to the likes of Maruti Alto and Hyundai Eon.
Now, in order to show its commitment towards the environment, Renault India in association with apex automobile industry body, Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) is all set to celebrate the ‘World Environment Day’. As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Renault which is committed to environmental safety and ecology conservation, plans to spread awareness on environment protection, sustenance and an eco conscious growth.
Worldwide, June the 5th, is observed as the World Environment Day to make the people of the world aware of their responsibilities towards their Mother Earth. With this in mind, Renault is conducting free pollution check-up (PUC) camps on Monday, 5th June, 2017 across all its dealerships in India. This free check is offered to the customers to ensure that their Renault vehicles’ pollution levels are in control even after sales and check the vehicles adhere to the emission norms of the Government. The customers will be provided with PUC certificates and will also be educated on maintaining their vehicles properly and extract best fuel efficiency out of their vehicles.
Also, as a part of its commitment towards it environment, Renault India has asked its dealers to plant saplings in the dealership premises and also in the nearby places. To encourage customers to plant greenery, customers visiting the dealership for the pollution check will also be given a free sampling.
In addition to this campaign, Renault India will also be conducting fun activities for its customers, to make the event enjoyable and fun for them. The family of the customers will be engaged in fun filled activities such as drawing and painting competition. In addition to the dealerships, Renault India will also be conducting the campaign across its offices in India for its employees.
