Renault & Castrol sign strategic partnership for the Indian market
Renault India has announced a strategic partnership with Castrol India Limited, the country’s leading automotive and industrial lubricant manufacturing company. The alliance for supply of exclusive after-sales engine oil lubricants is effective 1 January 2020. This announcement is an extension of a global strategic partnership between Groupe Renault and Castrol.
Renault and Castrol, both leading brands with advanced technologies, will combine their expertise to deliver a jointly branded superior product range and premium experience to Renault customers.
On the occasion, Venkatram Mamillapalle, Country CEO & Managing Director, Renault India Operations, “We are happy to partner with Castrol in India for lubricants in our aftersales network. I am confident that Renault and Castrol’s strong and growing partnership will enable us to combine the excellent skills and knowledge across both organizations to explore new opportunities in India’s rapidly evolving market.”
Sandeep Sangwan, who will take over as Managing Director, Castrol India Limited, with effect from 1 January 2020 added, “This is a big moment for us as we collaborate with Renault in India. Renault has a robust product strategy, which is developed keeping in mind the mid-term objective of doubling the sales volume in India. This is backed by its widespread network of over 350 sales and 260 service facilities across the country, offering outstanding sales and service quality. The Renault Castrol product range will be available nationally across Renault dealerships from 1 January 2020.
