The Renault Captur will be offered in an exclusive and premium Platine trim level that gets some extra comfort and ergonomic features.
Renault India has finally launched the Captur crossover in India. The car has been launched at a fantastic price and now takes on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Terrano and even its sibling the Renault Duster. The SUV is available in three trim levels and an exclusive top end Platine trim. The Renault Captur Platine which makes its debut in India features premium white and gold interiors with AC vents engulfed in chrome, along with the bezel with golden finish. Its ErgoDesign leather seats are 6-way adjustable.
The Captur comes loaded with features right from its base trim like full LED headlamps and a touchscreen infotainment system, while top end trims receive features like push button start and remote locking. The Renault Captur is powered by 2 engine options – a 1.5-litre petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox while the diesel engine gets a 6-speed manual gearbox. Fuel efficiency is rated at 20.37 kmpl for the diesel engine while the petrol delivers 13.87 kmpl. The SUV gets best in class ground clearance of 210 mm thanks to the large 17-inch alloy wheels.
