New Mahindra XUV 400 Electric Launched with loads of added features and tech at Rs. 15.49 Lakh

Mahindra has launched the updated model of the XUV400 Electric which is named as the XUV400 Pro with prices starting at Rs. 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Mahindra with this update gets in a long list of features on to the XUV400 which were missing so far.

Mahindra XUV 400 is  available in two variants,, EC Pro and EL Pro. In terms of changes the Electric SUV gets its cabin finished in new Black and Grey color with a redesigned layout.

In terms of added features the top-spec EL Pro variant gets a floating 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, all-digital instrument cluster, wireless charger, dual-zone climate control, revised aircon panel, rear Type-C USB port, rear mobile holder, new flat-bottom steering wheel, and AdrenoX connected car tech. You also now get a shark fin radio antenna on the SUV. The interior features a dual-tone design, accentuated with Satin-copper accents on control knobs, shift lever, and vent bezels. The seats are adorned in perforated leatherette upholstery with elegant copper stitching, combining comfort with a touch of sophistication.

In addition to these tech upgrades, the XUV 400 Pro offers  features like dual-zone automatic climate control, rear AC vents, and a wireless charger. Over the next few months, the vehicle will receive wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capabilities through over-the-air firmware updates. Powering the new Mahindra XUV400 are two battery pack options – 34.5kWh and 39.4kWh unit. The former is claimed to return a driving range of 375km while the larger option is rated to deliver a driving range of 456km on a single charge. The new XUV400 also gets a new body color option called the Nebula Blue.

Prospective buyers can look forward to booking the XUV400 Pro range starting January 12, 2024, from 2 pm onwards. The booking amount is set at Rs 21,000. Mahindra has announced that deliveries of the new variants will commence on February 1.
