New Kia Seltos Unveiled, Gets ADAS and lot of features with Bookings open on 14th of July
Kia has unveiled the New Seltos in India. Bookings for the facelift Seltos will open on the Pre bookings on the 14th of July. Launched in 2019 the Seltos is the biggest seller for the Korean car maker in India and a big seller in the mid sized SUV segment.
The New Seltos is available in three trims X-Line, GT- Line and Tech Line and across eight body Color options namely – Pewter Olive, Imperial Blue, Intense Red, Aurora Black Pearl, Clear White, Sparkling Silver, Glacier White Pearl, Gravity Grey, Xclusive Matt Graphite (X-Line), Glacier White Pearl + Aurora Black Pearl, and Intense Red + Aurora Black Pearl.
Seltos Exteriors
In terms of looks the New Seltos gets a updated grille with a new design DRL strip that is now placed lower along with redesigned headlamps and fog lamps that come with integrated sequential turn lights, redesign front and rear bumper, R18 new design alloys.
The sides remain the same whereas the rear profile gets all connected LED tail lamps, redesigned bumper.
Seltos Interiors
In terms of interiors the New Seltos gets a new design dashboard, new digital instrument cluster and touchscreen AVN system, new design steering with ADAS control button, new Center console with dual zone climate control, electro mechanical hand brake, auto hold button, panoramic sunroof, electrically adjustable front seats, ventilated front seats, air purifier, Bose sound system, ambient mood light, type C charger and wireless charger.
Seltos Safety
In terms of safety the New Kia Seltos comes with ADAS Level 2 safety feature, 6 , ABS (Anti-lock Brake System), BAS (Break force Assist System), All Wheel Disc Brakes, ESC (Electronic Stability Control), and VSM (Vehicle Stability Management), 360 degree camera, TPMS, front and rear parking sensors to name a few. You also get the connected car features along with voice control features.
Seltos Engines
New Kia Seltos is available in three engine options which include the 1.5L Petrol with 113bhp and 144Nm torque, 1.5L diesel with 113bhp and 250Nm torque and a all new 1.5L turbo GDi petrol engine with 160PS of power and 253Nm of torque.
Seltos Transmissions
The New Kia Seltos and an available in 5 Transmission options which includes 6-speed manual, IVT, iMT, 6-AT and 7-Speed DCT.
Seltos Competition Check
The New Kia Seltos goes up against the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun, MG Astor, Honda Elevate to name them all.
