India’s largest Premium Luxury car brand Mercedes-Benz celebrates 3 years for its  Pre-Owned Car Brand ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ in India. Mercedes had launched ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ in India in 2014 and since then within 3 years has sold more than 12,000 units of pre-owned cars registering a growth of 60%. ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ has more thane 165 display bays spread across 18 outlets. The Mercedes-Benz products sold
under the brand come with manufacturer-backed warranty of one year or 20,000 kms

At ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ a car goes through 139 check points via Comprehensive digital car evaluation system with hassle-free documentation, verified service history,
attractive trade-in and finance options  offered to the customers. Mercedes expects a 20 per cent growth in the Pre-Owned Cars segment for 2018. As per Mercedes Tier II and Tier III cities contribute to a larger market share as compared to the metros.

There is a strong demand for Mercedes-Benz products due to their superior build quality, tested reliability and impeccable craftsmanship leading to their high re-sale value. The Indian Pre-Owned car market has a huge growth potential and it is estimated to grow by 20 per cent in 2018. We expect ‘Mercedes-Benz Certified’ business to grow significantly in the foreseeable future and contribute to the brand’s growth in India.”
