Maruti Suzuki NEXA was launched last year in July with the S-Cross as its first offering. NEXA currently accounts for 10 percent of the company’s total sales.
In July 2015, Maruti Suzuki launched their new NEXA premium outlets in India. This was something new at the time and got mixed responses from the customers. NEXA was given birth to provide a premium car buying experience to Maruti customers. This also meant developing a dealer network right from scratch. But after a gradual start, the company has now set up nearly 150 dealerships in 94 cities across the country. The company has already sold more than 1,00,000 units through this network and now has a strength of 3500 relationship managers. The relationship managers take care of your car buying experience right from the time you step into the showroom, till the time you receive the delivery of your vehicle.

Celebrating NEXA’s first anniversary, Mr. R S Kalsi, Executive Director, Marketing and Sales said, “NEXA has been created to address the needs of a new and growing segment of Indian customers. These customers are well travelled, digitally savvy and frequently experience five-star hospitality. They value personal touch and pampering in their purchase and ownership experience. Over half (51 per cent) of the customers who bought cars at NEXA were not customers of Maruti Suzuki at that point, indicating that through NEXA, we are able to attract new categories of customers.” Maruti Suzuki plans to expand the number of NEXA outlets to 250 by March 2017 and gain 15 percent of MSIL sales by 2020.
