Maruti Suzuki launches Refreshed Celerio at Rs. 4.15 lakhs
The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio comes in just in time for the festive season with a much needed refresh.
After its launch in 2014, Maruti Suzuki has finally launched an update to the strong selling Celerio hatchback in India. For starters, the refreshed Celerio will come powered by only a 1.0-litre petrol engine. The 2-cylinder diesel engine was discontinued lately. The petrol engine develops around 67 HP of max power and feel quite peppy in the light weight Celerio. This engine will be continued to be offered with a 5-speed manual transmission and a automatic AMT gearbox; one of its forte’s. The testimony is that nearly 36 percent of customers have opted for AGS variant during April-September 2017, while the top-end Z variant has contributed 48 percent of overall sales during the same time.
The new Maruti Suzuki Celerio features a redesigned bumper at the front and the rear while new garnishes of chrome complete the exterior update. On the insides, you get the same dual tone black and beige theme for the plastics but there are new greige seat trims with new abstract pattern. On the safety front, a passenger airbag and ABS are offered as optional on all trim levels. All variants get a driver airbag as standard.
