Maruti Suzuki introduces Royal Platinum Extended Warranty program

The Royal Platinum Extended Warranty will allow Maruti Suzuki customers to cover any unexpected repairs under their car warranties to up to 5 years.

Maruti Suzuki has yet again introduced another customer focused after sales initiative in India with the introduction of the Royal Platinum Extended Warranty. This extended warranty program will enable customers to protect their cars on unexpected repairs for five years or 1 lakh kilometers, whichever is earlier. The Royal Platinum Extended Warranty program offers protection for additional period and kilometers, covering high value parts such as Compressor, ECM, Turbo Charger Assembly etc. from any manufacturing defects. It also brings peace of mind by providing free emergency on-road service.

The Royal Platinum extended warranty will sit above the Gold and Platinum warranty programs. The Gold extended warranty program offers up to 3 years or 60,000 kms, while the Platinum extended warranty pack extends your car’s warranty to 4 years or 80,000 kms, whichever is earlier. Customers enrolled under Gold and Platinum Extended Warranty can also upgrade themselves to Royal Platinum at a nominal cost. Recently Maruti Suzuki has been trying to go premium in India. They first launched the NEXA showrooms and very recently announced the ARENA showrooms too.

Introducing the Royal Platinum Extended Warranty, Mr. Partho Banerjee, Executive Vice President (Service), Maruti Suzuki India said, “The cost of ownership is an important aspect in buying and maintaining a car for the customers. The Royal Platinum Extended Warranty program aims to give extended assurance to our customers. This unique program is aimed to deliver extended peace of mind while customers continue to enjoy unmatched service experience of Maruti Suzuki car care at our dealership network.”
