The Big Daddy of SUV’s as Mahindra calls it is the largest SUV in its class and comes loaded with features that is more than SUV models two or three segments higher too.
In terms of looks the Scorpio-N takes ahead the trademark butch heavy and boxy SUV styling with the family large Mahindra grill adorning the twin peak Mahindra logo, large bumper, long bonnet nose, flat sides with large wheel arch, step board, large glass area, huge electric wing mirrors.
At the rear the styling is very Volvo like with a flat boot lid that opens side ways in typical Scorpio fashion. The LED tail lights are vertically placed into the body line that look very much like the Volvo XC suvs. The Scorpio-N drives on 18 inch wheels with multi spoke alloy wheel design. The roof gets large sized roof rail and a large electric sun roof too.
In terms of cabin the Scorpio-N gets a flat dash with leather wrap in dark brown shade, metal inserts around the centre dash, digi-analogue instrument cluster, flat bottom steering with leather wrap and grab rail handles on both sides, dual zone climate control, 4-way electrically adjustable driver seat with lumbar support, cooled glovebox.
You also get wireless mobile charging, wireless apple car play and android auto, drive modes, bill descent control, park camera with capture mode, cruise control etc.
The Scorpio-N comes with a 12 speaker Sony sourced audio system along with AdrenoX. The middle row seat gets 40:60 split with folding arm rest and adjustable head rests. You also get AC vents for the middle row with blower setting dial and usb C type mobile charge port. Third row seats are front facing and get integrated headsets on them.
Powering the Scorpio-N is one Petrol and one Diesel engine option derived from the Thar and the XUV 7OO but in different state of tune. The 2.0L Diesel engine makes 175PS of power and has 400Nm of torque. The 2.0L turbo Petrol engine makes 200PS of power and 375Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.
