Mahindra Records 2 Lakh Unit Production Milestone of XUV700, Celebrates with New Colour Options

Mahindra XUV700 has cross the big milestone of production of two lakh units  in India. Mahindra XUV 7OO had crossed one lakh units milestone in just 21 months while this milestone of two lakh units production comes in just 33 months. Mahindra celebrating this big milestone has introduced two new colours for the SUV, Deep Forest and Burnt Sienna. While the former can be seen in other Mahindra SUVs, the latter is exclusive to the XUV700.

The XUV700 is available in seven variants, namely, MX, AX3, AX5, AX5 Select, AX7, AX7 Luxury, and AX7 Luxury Blaze Edition. The best selling SUV from Mahindra is powered with two engine options – a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The former is tuned to produce 197bhp and 380Nm of torque. On the other hand, the diesel engine makes 182bhp and 450Nm of peak torque. In terms of transmission  options, you can get the XUV7OO with the six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic option. You also have the XUV7OO available in the top spec diesel with the AWD option.

In terms of features the XUV7OO comes loaded with 26.03 cm twin-screen setup, Alexa Built-In Functionality, and Level 2 ADAS to name a few. Other features include a 6-way power driver’s seat, and a 12-speaker audio system, a panoramic sunroof, memory ORVMs, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, 360-degree camera, etc.

In terms of safety, XUV700 offers features like up to seven airbags, electronic stability program (ESP), ISOFIX anchors, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) to name a few. XUV700 is also one of safest cars in the Indian market with the SUV scoring a 5-star safety rating at Global NCAP in 2022. It secured a 5-star rating for adult occupancy and 4-star rating for child occupancy. Prices for the XUV700 range between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 26.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
