Mahindra has released official teasers for the XUV300 facelift for the very first time which will now be called the XUV 3XO. The new SUV from Mahindra is scheduled for launch on the 29th of April.
This updated sub-four-metre SUV the XUV 3XO will start a new badging trend for the entire XUV lineup moving ahead as per our guess and the future XUV 700 could also be called as the XUV 7XO.
The teaser video and images of the new Mahindra XUV 3XO show the exteriors and some part of the interiors, what’s seen is the new fascia with a split headlamp setup, LED projector headlights, circular fog lights, L-shaped LED DRLs, diamond pattern for the new grille, new dual-tone alloy wheels, and a yellow paint scheme, new C-shaped LED taillights, connected LED light bar on the tailgate, rear wiper and washer, and the ‘XUV 3XO’ lettering at the rear.
In terms of interiors of the XUV 3XO we see a new floating style touchscreen infotainment system measuring around 10.25-inch. Also up for offer could be a fully digital instrument console, fresh upholstery, tweaked centre console, and new AC vents.
Powering the XUV 3XO would be the same 1.2-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines mated with six-speed manual and AMT units. Once launched, the new XUV 3XO will rival the Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, and the Nissan Magnite in its segment.
