Yamaha has launched the 2019 FZ and FZS in India today. Both big seller models from Yamaha get lots of updates in terms of design and features. The 2019 FZ is priced at Rs. 95,000 and the FZS is priced at Rs. 97,000 Ex Showrooms Delhi. Yamaha has also updated the FZ25 and the R15, Fazer 25 with Dual Channel ABS.
Updates on the 2019 Yamaha FZ and FZS include restyled body design, new design plastic resin tank cover, new style dual LED headlights, All LCD meter console, single piece 2-level seat, aluminum one piece grab handle, sliding engine kill switch, repositioning of main ignition switch in front of the tank, Bosch single channel ABS, rear disc brakes, broad 140mm radial rear tyre, bold new front suspension, new design sub frame, higher position handle bar.
On the engine front the 2019 Yamaha FZ and FZS gets powered by the Blue Core concept single cylinder 4-stroke SOHC, 2 valves 149cc single cylinder engine with 13.2 PS of power at 8000rpm and 12.8NM of torque at 6000rpm. This engine is fed with Fi (Fuel Injection) system. The FZ Fi is available in Metric Black and Racing Blue while the FZ-S is available in Matt Black, Dark Matt Blue and Grey with Cyan Blue paint options.
Yamaha also launched the 2019 YZS-R15 V3.0, FZ 25 and Fazer 25 with update dual channel ABS. The FZ 25 is available at Rs. 1.33 Lakh while the Fazer 25 is priced at Rs. 1.43 Lakh ex showroom Delhi. In technical specifications the 3 motorcycles remain the same.
The FZ 25 is available in dark matt blue, matt black and cyan blue while the Fazer 25 is available in dark matt blue and metalic black paint shades. The R15 V3.0 gets a new paint shade option with the darknight shade.
Yamaha has also launched its Blur Core Technology which is the next generation engine development ideal for models to take riding enjoyment fuel efficiency and environment performance to all new levels by increasing combustion efficiency, increasing cooling efficiency and reducing power loss as per Yamaha.
