LIVE – Triumph Launches 2018 Tiger 800 at Rs. 11.76 Lakh
Triumph has got the 2018 Tiger into India today with prices starting at Rs. 11.76 Lakh. The 2018 Triumph Tiger series for India now stands at – Tiger XR- Rs. 11.76 Lakh, Tiger XRx- Rs. 13.13 Lakh and Tiger XCx- Rs. 13.76 Lakh Ex Showrooms pan India.
With the all new 2018 Triumph Tiger 800 & 1200 which was showcased at the EICMA Motocycle Show held in November of 2017. Finally the 2018 Tiger 800 makes its way to the Indian shores. Triumph has been making Tiger range of motorcycles since 1936. They’ve improved the Tiger 800 on/ off-road adventure motorcycle which was on sale since 2010, with over 68000 units sold across the globe making it one of the most popular adventure motorcycle. Triumph has made more than 200 changes to the 2018 model over the outgoing model, only the fuel tank is carried onto the latest iteration. The most significant change being the shorter ratio first gear, which makes it easier to ride on tough terrain and get-off quickly from standstill.
Other changes include the all LED lights upfront, LED DRL’s, LED turn signal indicators and a full colour TFT display, which was first seen on the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS. Coming to the handlebars, it is now pulled closer to the rider by 10mm, which makes it even more comfortable on long treacherous rides.
The Triumph Tiger comes powered with a 800cc triple cylinder engine with 95PS of power and 79 Nm of torque on it.
