LIVE – Toyota Yaris Launched at Rs. 8.75 Lakh pan India
Toyota has launched its sedan the Yaris today and priced it at Rs. 8.75 Lakh pan India. The Toyota Yaris was launched at a multi city launch events that happened across Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkatta at the same time. Toyota had revealed the Yaris prices on the 25th of April and had also opened bookings for the sedan then. The Toyota Yaris deliveries will also begin from today.
The variants for the Toyota Yaris start with the J which is priced at Rs. 8.75 Lakh followed by the G trim which comes in at Rs. 10.56 Lakh followed by the V trim which is for Rs. 11.70 Lakh and the fully loaded top end trim the VX which can be got at Rs 12.85 Lakh. The Yaris will also be available with CVT automatic transmission option across all the trims, here are the prices for the automatic versions, the J trim is at Rs. 9.95 Lakh, G trim at Rs. 11.76 Lakh, V at Rs. 12.90 Lakh and the top end VX Auto at Rs. 14.07 Lakh. The Yaris becomes the 1st sedan to come with an CVT automatic transmission option under Rs. 10 Lakh.
The Toyota Yaris was first showcased in India at the 2018 Auto Expo and has been a very successful sedan from the Japanese car maker globally. The Toyota Yaris comes loaded with innovative features which include 7 airbags standard across all the variants of the car, ABS with EBD, Tyre pressure monitor, paddle shifters with cruise control on the automatic trims, all wheel disc brakes, front and rear parking sensors, vehicle stability control, electric adjust for drivers seat, roof mounted rear AC vents, gesture controlled infotainment system to name a few.
he Toyota Yaris will only be available in Petrol option and comes powered by the 1.5 Litre 4 cylinder engine with 107 PS of power and 140NM of torque on it. This engine comes mated with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed CVT-i automatic gearbox.
On the feature list the fully loaded Toyota Yaris comes loaded with a host of premium features that include LED guide lights with the projector lamps, and rear combination lamps, with guide lights, 15-inch alloy wheels with all four disc brakes. The Yaris interior comes loaded with 6 speakers system, cruise control, and rain sensing wipers. Safety features will include front parking sensors, 4 rear parking sensors, reverse camera, auto headlamps, and follow-me-home headlamps, updated infotainment system with navigation, air gesture control, and an SD card slot.
8-way power adjustable driver seat, paddle shifter (CVT version only), and rear sunshade, while the safety features include vehicle stability control, and tyre pressure monitoring system, first-in-class roof-mounted air vents with ambient illumination, acoustic & vibration control glass for better sound-proofing, a smart key, push-button start-stop function, steering-mounted for audio, Phone, & MID controls, and electrically foldable ORVMs. Safety features include rear parking sensor, front and rear fog lamps, rear defogger, and speed sensing door lock and impact sensing door unlock feature to name a few.

The Toyota Yaris comes in six colour options – Wildfire red, Phantom brown, Grey metallic, Super white, Pearl white, and Silver white. For now there will only be the Petrol Yaris available, no talks about the diesel version but we are told that Toyota may consider the Hybrid version of the Yaris for the future.
