LIVE : Toyota launches the Urban Cruiser at ₹8.4 Lakh
Toyota Kirloskar Motors today have announced their entry into the sub 4 meter SUV segment with the launch of the Urban Cruiser starting at ₹ 8.40 Lakh ex showroom delhi . The Urban Cruiser will be offered in 3 trims ; MID , HIGH and PREMIUM in both manual and automatic transmission and 9 colour options including two dual tone options for the top of the line variants .

The Urban Cruiser comes with the tried and tested K series 1.5 L 4 cylinder BS-VI Petrol engine putting down 105 PS @6000 rpm and 138 nm of torque @ 4400 rpm with an option of either a 5 speed manual or a 4 speed AT which is expected to deliver a pocket friendly fuel economy .
The compact SUV comes with a dual tone dark brown spacious interior offered in three different patterns as per the trim . The features on offer include rain sensing wipers , automatic climate control , cruise control , 7 inch infotainment system with android auto and apple car play , auto dimming rear view mirror among other features . The sub 4 meter SUV also comes with an all LED light setup with the headlights boasting of DRL with integrated indicators .

The Urban Cruiser on the safety front comes with dual front airbags , ABS with EBD , hill hold , ISOFIX child seat mounts as standard and a few more as you go up the trim lineup . The vehicle gets disc brakes in the front and drum for the rear along with 16 inch wheels . ( Steel wheels with cover on the MID trim and Alloy Wheels for the High and Premium trim ) .
The vehicles comes with 3 years / 100,000 kms warranty and an option of extended warranty upto 5 years or 2,20,000 kms and the Express maintenance service with 60 mins at all Toyota Dealerships . Also offered for peace of mind are the 24×7 road side assistance services .
The bookings for the Urban Cruiser are already open and deliveries are expected to begin mid of october this year .
