Nissan has launched its Compact SUV the Magnite priced at Rs. 4.99 Lakh (Introductory Ex Delhi). The Nissan Magnite now becomes the Most Affordable Compact SUV in India. The Magnite is available across two powertrains, four variants, and eight colors to choose from.

The Nissan Magnite comes powered with the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine and the 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Transmission options include a five-speed manual unit as standard and also a CVT Automatic option thats offered with the 1.0L turbo petrol motor. In terms of power output the 1.0L NA engine makes 72hp and 96Nm of torque. The 1.0L Turbo petrol makes 100hp and 152Nm of torque. The claimed fuel-efficiency figures of the three are 18.75 km/l, 20 km/l and 17.7 km/l, respectively.
In terms of features of the Nissan Magnite the Compact SUV gets a 360-degree view monitor, which is also known as Around View Monitor or AVM. Customers can also activate the left or the right-hand side cameras according to their preference for a better parallel parking. The CSUV also gets a full LED headlamp which are sleekest in this category and enhance the look of the car. Nissan also says that these lamps have the widest throw in this category. The Magnite comes with a 7.0-inch full (TFT) instrument cluster, the instrument cluster also gets advanced level of graphics and information. The Magnite also features an 8-inch infotainment system to complete the dual-screen set-up loaded with all the connectivity features.
In terms of safety Nissan has loaded the Magnite with many features that include, Dual airbags, ABS with EBD, Vehicle Dynamics Control (VDC), Hill start assist, Traction control, Anti roll bar, 360 degree camera, parking sensors to name few.
The Nissan Magnite competes with the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV 3OO in the Compact SUV segment.
