Hero Achiever 150 in its new avatar gets the company’s i3S technology and Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) features. It gets the option of a disc braking system too.
Hero MotoCorp, the world’s largest 2-wheeler manufacturer has launched the next gen Hero Achiever 150 in India. The bike has been launched in two variants with drum brakes and disc brakes. The drum brake version has been priced at Rs. 61,800/- while the disc brake variant will set you back by Rs. 62,800/- (all prices ex-showroom, Delhi). The Hero Achiever 150 is powered by a 150cc single cylinder air cooled 4-stroke motor that develops 13.6 PS of max power at 8,000 RPM and 12.8 Nm of peak torque at 5,000 RPM. The bike promises strong performance with a 0-60 kmph time of just 5 seconds.
The next gen Hero Achiever 150 gets the company’s i3S technology which is a fuel saving tech. When the bike comes to a standstill and the clutch is fully disengaged, the engine switches itself off, which helps to save precious fuel. When the rider engages the clutch, the engine automatically fires back to life. On the looks front, the new bike gets a larger fuel tank, new headlights and winkers, bulging fender, new muffler cover and new body graphics. The bike is also available in 3 different shades – Panther Black Metallic, Candy Blazing Red and Ebony Grey Metallic.
Hero MotoCorp recently sold a cumulative of 70 million 2-wheelers in India and abroad, and to celebrate this achievement, the company has announced a limited edition of the next gen Hero Achiever 150. This event also coincides with India’s 70th year of Independence, and hence Hero has decided to manufacture 70 exclusive limited edition units of the new Achiever 150. Some of the other features on the Hero Achiever 150 are a new analog instrument cluster, side stand indicator and Automatic Headlamp feature that helps improve visibility in low lit areas.
