Powering the Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 is the monstrous twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 engine from the Mercedes lineup mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission. This engine makes 550hp between 6,000 to 6,500 rpm and generates 730Nm of torque between 2,500 and 5,000 rpm. There also is the 48-Volt mild hybrid system that adds another 21Hp of power to the overall output. This intelligent hybrid system also sends the kinetic energy it recuperates to the battery pack while braking or coasting.Mercedes Maybach GLS 600 can do 0-100kmph in 4.8 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250kmph. Other features include Airmatic suspension, E-Active Body Control.
