LIVE – Mercedes-Benz Launches the V-Class Elite at ₹1.10 Crore
Mercedes Benz has launched the V-Class Elite 220d in India today at a price of ₹1.10 Crore Ex showroom Pan India at a media function in Chennai. This now becomes the top of the line trim for the Mercedes V-Class based on the facelift model that was introduced internationally earlier this year. The Mercedes V-Class Elite will be imported through the CBU route.
The Mercedes V-Class Elite is offered in the long wheelbase version. The Premium MPV joins the V-Class Expression (₹68.40Lakh), V-Class Exclusive (₹81.90Lakh). In terms of the exterior upgrades the V-Class Elite appears broader and has a bolder styling. The Premium MPV comes with redesigned headlamps, restyled bumpers and a all new style grille. On the inside, the MPV changes include a updated dashboard styling with new controls, turbine-style air vents, and a larger infotainment system.
Seating options on the Mercedes V-Class Elite include the four-seater or seven-seater configurations, the seats get extra premium upholstery in all leather. The rear seats get reclining, back massaging and heating options on them. The V-Class Elite also gets unique features that include folding table, Coat hanger, iPad docking station, ambient lighting, electric sliding doors, refrigerated compartment, Brumester surround system, panoramic sun roof (optional), 17 inch alloy wheels, agility control, easy pack tailgate.
Powering the Mercedes-Benz V-Class Elite is the BS-6 OM 654 2.0 Litre diesel engine that develops 163 Hp and generates 380Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to the latest generation 9G TRONIC Automatic transmission. The Mercedes V-Class Elite can do a dash to 100kmph in 11.1 seconds.
Safety features include 6 Airbags, 360 degree camera, active parking assist, attention assist, Pre Safe.
The Mercedes Benz V-Class Elite is available in seven body color options that include three new shades – Steel Blue, Selenite Grey and Graphite Grey along with Brilliant Silver, Obsidian Black, Cavansite Blue and Rock Crystal White.
Currently the Mercedes V-Class has no competition till Toyota launches their premium MPV the Vellfire shortly.
