LIVE – Mercedes-AMG A45S Launched in India at ₹79.50 Lakh

Mercedes-Benz has launched the new A45 S AMG in India with a price tag of Rs 79.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The latest AMG model will be got into the country via the CBU route. The AMG A45S becomes the world’s most powerful 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine to be used on a production car.

Powering the 2021 Mercedes-AMG A45 S is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-petrol engine that produces 416bhp and 500Nm of torque. This powerhouse engine comes mates to an eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. This AMG model can propel from 0-100kmph in just 3.9 seconds, all the way up to an electronically limited top speed of 270kmph.

In terms of looks the A45S comes with a very aggressive exterior styling which includes a new AMG grille with vertical slats and AMG badging, wide air intakes, LED DRLs, flared wheel arches, side skirtings, 19-inch alloy wheels, quad-tip exhaust pipes, rear diffuser, a large spoiler, and a rear diffuser.

The AMG A45S is available in six colour options that include Sun Yellow, Polar White, Mountain Grey, Designo Patagonia Red, Designo Mountain Grey Magno, and Cosmos Black.

In terms of interiors the AMG A45S comes with the Mercedes family twin display that features one screen each for the instrument cluster and infotainment system, a perforated three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, contrast yellow accents, Nappa leather upholstery, and sport seats. A few other notable features of the model include AMG torque control, AMG Drift Mode, AMG suspension, drive modes, and all-wheel-drive.
