BMW has launched the 8 Series Gran Coupe in India priced at Rs. 1.29 Crore. The BMW M8 Coupe priced at Rs. 2.15 Crore also comes in on the lineup starting today as the flagship sports sedan model on the lineup fpr the iconic German car maker. The cars were launched digitally due to the current Covid Lockdown prevailing in the country.
In terms of exteriors the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe comes with some super sporty styling that includes a dominating BMW Kidney grille, sharp angular headlamps, sporty bumpers, large greenhouse with short pillars. Typical coupe roofline, Boomerang-styled rear bumper housing, sculpted tailgate, aggressive wraparound tail lamp. The BMW 8 Series Gran Coupe has a very low slung styling with razor-sharp styling and super sporty alloy wheels that make this beemer stand out from the crowd.
In terms of interiors the BMW 8 Series Grand Couple comes with the latest cabin styling sporting the 10.25 inch BMW Navigation System Professional, heated and ventilated front seats, 16-speaker Harmon Kardon premium audio system, powered tailgate, panoramic glass roof, high-gloss metallic trim, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, four-zone climate control to name a few.
The BMW 8 Series 840i Gran Coupe comes powered with a 3.0-litre six-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine. The more performance-based BMW 840i Gran Coupe ‘M Sport is priced at Rs. 1.55 crore (ex-showroom). This mammoth engine generates 335 hp of power and 500 Nm of peak torque and is mated to an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission that powersthe rear wheels. This sports coupe can do zero to 100 kmph in just 5.2 seconds and can reach a limited top speed of 250 kmph.
Meanwhile the flagship BMW M8 Coupe gets its power from the highly acclaimed 4.4 Litre Twin Turbo V8 Petrol engine that makes a earth shattering 625 hp of power and a ground breaking 750Nm of peak torque. This sports coupe comes with an all time all wheel drive system the BMW xDrive system as standard. The M8 Coupe also gets multiple driving modes as standard.

The BMW 8 Series Grand Coupe is available in Barcelona Blue, Sonic Speed Blue, Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Carbon Black, and Sunset Orange paint options. The M8 Coupe comes only as the fully loaded Competition trim in India.
