LIVE – 2019 Mini John Cooper Works Launched at ₹43.50 Lakh
The 2019 Mini John Cooper Works has been launched in India with prices starting at Rs. 43.50 Lakh Ex India. The highly attractive hot hatch will be available in India as CBU units starting June.
the 2019 updated Mini now comes with a host of technical updates which include revised chassis, sport brake system and also included is the mechanical limited-slip differential. Other updates include uprated springs and dampers and lightened suspension, new anti-roll bars, lightweight support bearings and triple-path strut mounts. The Mini package also includes Sport, Comfort and Efficiency drive modes.
In terms of cosmetic updates there are subtle changes to the face with a new grill, adaptive headlights, restyled bumper etc. New design alloy wheels come in and the trademark Union Jack tail lamps is the key highlight on the JCW. The cabin gets all black theme and comes with super sporty JCW seats. You get features like heads up display, 12 speaker 360 watt Harman Kardon music system with 8 channel digital amplifier, 6.5 inches infotainment system with all the connectivity options to name a few.
The 2019 update of the Mini John Cooper Works was launched in International markets some time back and now its arraived in India. Powering this high-performance Mini, is a 2-litre four-cylinder petrol engine producing 228 bhp with 320 Nm of torque on offer mated with the eight-speed sports steptronic automatic transmission. The hot hatch can do 0-100 kmph in just 6.1 seconds.
