LIVE! 2018 Audi Q5 launched in India at Rs. 53.25 Lakhs
The 2018 Audi Q5 is based on the MLB EVO platform that makes it almost 70 kgs lighter than before aiding performance and fuel efficiency.
Audi India has begun the new year with a bang with the launch of the all new Q5 SUV in India. The 2018 Audi Q5 will take on the likes of the 2018 Volvo XC60, Mercedes-Benz GLC and the upcoming 2018 BMW X3. This all new car looks like a mini Audi Q7 and borrows a lot of styling elements from its elder brother. There are full LED headlamps and taillamps with dynamic turn indicators. The large familiar Audi single piece grille gives a classy look to the front. Overall the car looks butch and well proportioned.
The 2018 Audi Q5 comes with an all new interior dominated by the high resolution Audi Virtual Cockpit that can be customised according to the drivers preferences. You also get the MMI infotainment system that can be controlled by a rotary dial and a touchpad. There is also a 180 Watt 10 speaker system and wireless charging as well. There is a huge panoramic sunroof while the boot measures at 550 litres.
The 2018 Audi Q5 is powered by a 2.0-litre Diesel engine that develops a strong 190 HP and 400 Nm. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual clutch gearbox and gets all wheel drive as standard. It can hit 100kmph in just 7.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 218 kmph. Fuel efficiency is rated at 17.01 kmpl. The Audi Drive Select also offers various drive modes like Comfort (relaxed drive), Dynamic (sporty drive), Auto (auto adjust) Individual (can set throttle, steering, suspension, transmission) and Off-Road (best traction & balance) mode.
The 2018 Audi Q5 has been priced at Rs. 53.25 lakhs ex-showroom Delhi.
