Breaking: 2017 Hyundai Tucson Variant Details Leak Just Before Launch
The 2017 Hyundai Tucson will be available with a 2.0-litre petrol and diesel motor, with the option of a manual or automatic gearbox.
Hyundai India is all set to launch the next generation Tucson in India on the 14th November 2016. Although the brochure of the upcoming SUV has sadly leaked just before its official launch. The 2017 Hyundai Tucaon will be available with both a petrol and diesel motor mated to a manual or automatic gearbox. There will be three trim levels – 2WD MT, 2WD AT GL and 2WD AT GLS. The petrol engine will be offered with only the base and middle variant while the diesel will be available in all of the three mentioned variants.
The 2017 Hyundai Tucson will be powered by a 2.0-litre diesel motor that develops 182 BHP and 400 Nm, while the 2.0-litre petrol motor is shared with the recently launched Hyundai Elantra and produces 153 BHP and 192 Nm. Both engines come with the option of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Also, the SUV will be offered in only the 2WD guise, but we might get a 4WD variant at a later stage to combat competition. It gets safety features like electronic stability control, vehicle stability management, hill start assist, downhill brake control and brake assist as standard.
The 2017 Hyundai Tucson will get a 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple Car Play and Android Auto as standard right from the base petrol variant. The top variants of the Tucson comes with a powered tailgate, electrically adjustable seat, rear AC vents, rear parking camera, driving modes, electric parking brake, LED headlamps, etc. The manual variants will be offered with 17-inch alloy wheels, while the automatic variants get 18-inch diamond cut rims. The base manual variants get features like automatic headlamps, cruise control, black & beige interiors and fabric upholstery.
