BMW Begins India Production of the All New X3 at Chennai
BMW has begun the production of the All New X3 at its Chennai plant starting today. BMW will launch the All New X3 on the 19th of April 2018. This is the 3rd generation for the BMW X3.

BMW had unveiled the All New X3 at the 2018 Auto Expo in Feb this year.
BMW Group Plant Chennai locally produces the BMW 3 Series, the BMW 3 Series GranTurismo, the BMW 5 Series, the BMW 6 Series Gran Turismo, the BMW 7 Series, the BMW X1, the BMW X3 and the BMW X5. BMW Plant Chennai will start the local production of MINI Countryman in 2018
.BMW X3 will be available as xDrive 20d and the xDrive 30d. The 20d will come powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, twin-turbo diesel delivering 190PS of maximum power and 400Nm of peak torque. The 30d, comes powered with a 3.0-litre, twin-turbo petrol, straight-six diesel motor hitting out 257PS of power and 620Nm of torque. Both the versions come with an 8-speed ZF sourced Automatic transmission.
