Classic Legends Pvt. Ltd. today launched the much anticipated all-new range of Jawa Motorcycles; the classic ‘Jawa’ and the modern classic ‘Jawa Forty Two’ at a starting price of ₹1.55/- & ₹1.64/- lakhs ex-showroom respectively pan India.
The Jawa & Jawa Forty Two break cover as the brands new torch bearers, bringing back the classic appeal of Jawa with a retro twist. Both these motorcycles share the same 293cc single-cylinder liquid cooled DOHC engine pushing out 27Bhp and 28Nm of torque and is nestled within the double cradle chassis. Both the models and the engine is developed from ground up (as the company claims).
Jawa returns to India a place where it once ruled the motorcycle market with Jawa and Yezdi 250cc range of motorcycles. The motorcycles have a cult following here with many Yezdi Jawa clubs across the country many of whom are here for a special event hosted for them. The classic motorcycle makes a grand return with many already booked even before the launch.
As of now 105 dealers are already appointed across the nation along with the same number of service centres. The official bookings are open as of today (15th November 2018) and deliveries will begin early 2019. The classic ‘Jawa’ come with three colour options known as the Jawa maroon, Jawa grey and the Jawa black. Whereas the modern classic ‘Jawa Forty Two’ comes in six colour options namely Glossy Metallic Red, Glossy Dark Blue, Matt Moss Green, Matt Pastel Blue, Matt Pastel Light Green and Matt Blue.

The company has also unveiled a third model to the lineup the factory custom ‘Jawa Perak’ that comes with a slightly powerful 334cc liquid cooled single cylinder engine that makes 30Bhp and 31Nm of torque.
