The revamped crankshaft design aims to alleviate engine strain, while refined gear ratios and adjusted throttle mapping contribute to smoother performance. Updates to the piston skirt profile and cast iron liner within the cylinder block further minimize noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Additionally, the introduction of a larger 38 mm diameter throttle body, along with a patented breather canopy, is designed to decrease both oil consumption and emissions.

Maintaining its 334 cc liquid-cooled engine, the power unit continues to deliver 29 bhp at 7,500 rpm and 30 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The transmission is equipped with a 6-speed gearbox featuring a slip and assist clutch. In terms of ergonomics, the repositioning of the foot pegs forward by 155 mm enhances rider comfort and promotes a more relaxed riding position. Notably, despite these substantial changes, the handlebar position remains unchanged.

When it comes to pricing, the 2024 Jawa Perak is listed at ₹2,13,187 (ex-showroom, Pune), showcasing the substantial updates and enhancements that render it an enticing choice for motorcycle aficionados seeking both style and performance.
