2023 Honda City Launched with prices starting at Rs. 11.49 Lakh, ADAS safety feature included
Honda has launched the 2023 City in India with prices starting at Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The New Honda City comes with cosmetic updates and new features added to its list. The smart looking Japanese sedan is available in four variants across six colours only in Petrol and Hybrid options, Diesel engine option wont be available now. The updated engines both now comply with the BS6 Phase 2 and RDE norms.
In terms of cosmetic updates, the refreshed City gets tweaked front and rear bumpers, a new grille, and new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. A few other notable features include LED headlamps, LED tail lights, blacked-out B-pillars, fog lights, a shark-fin antenna, and front door-mounted ORVMs. The 2023 Honda City is available in six colours which include – Radiant Red Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Golden Brown Metallic, Meteoroid Grey Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, and a new Obsidian Blue Pearl color shade. The New Honda City is available across four variants – SV, V, VX, and ZX.
In terms of interiors the 2023 Honda City now comes equipped with Honda Sensing suite (ADAS), wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, an air purifier, a new interior theme, ambient lighting, and rain-sensing wipers. Also up for offer is an electric sunroof, a seven-inch coloured MID, and an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
The Honda Sensing uses the front camera with a wide-angle, far-reaching detection system to scan the road ahead and alert the driver to minimize risk of accidents. Honda Sensing ADAS safety features include:

Engine options on the 2023 Honda City include a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, NA petrol engine and a 1.5-litre petrol engine paired with a hybrid motor. The Petrol engine makes 119bhp of power and 145Nm of torque, and comes paired with a six-speed manual unit or a CVT automatic option. The hybrid model of the City makes 97bhp and 127Nm of torque via the petrol mill, while the hybrid motor produces 107bhp and 253Nm of torque. This combination is mated only with an e-CVT unit. Both the engines now comply with the BS6 Phase 2 and RDE norms.
The New City and e:HEV come with 3-year Unlimited kilometers warranty as standard while customers can also opt for Extended Warranty upto 5 years and Anytime Warranty upto 10 years from the date of car purchase. The warranty available on Lithium-ion Battery will be 8-year or 160,000 Km (whichever comes first) from the date of car purchase.
