Hyundai has launched the 2022 Venue in India with prices starting at Rs.7.53 Lakh. The highly face lifted Hyundai Venue will be available in two petrol and one Diesel engine options including the 1.2L Petrol, 1.5L Diesel and the chart topping 1.0L Turbo Petrol. Transmission options on the New Venue also remain the same which include the 5-Speed manual, 6-Speed manual, 6-speed IMT, 7-Speed DCT.
In terms of exterior changes the updated Hyundai Venue comes with a all new dominating face that is made up with the new age Hyundai family grill that reminds you of the Hyundai Pallisade SUV from its international lineup. This grille is finished in dark chrome and looks very imposing giving the front end lot of weight. The air dam gets a lot wider and fog lamps have been omitted. Headlamps now come with Projector type glow instead of halogen one’s on the older Venue. The DRL around the headlamps remain the same but appear a bit sharper and brighter.
The New Venue also gets all new design 16 inch alloy wheels. The side profile remains the same except for the alloys. Roof gets electric sun roof along with roof rails and shark fin radio antenna.
At the rear there is a lot of evident changes which include all new design split tail lamps that now also get a new connecting line across the boot that looks very stylish and am totally new design bumper.
In terms of interiors on the New Venue the cabin now comes finished in dual tone finish in black and beige along the dash, door panels and the seats.
Driver seat now gets all Electric adjust for height and reach while the seats are finished in fabric upholstery with faux leather sides. Also included on the Venue now is an all digital instrument cluster that looks classy, the steering wheel is borrowed from the Creta and looks good here. The AVN system also gets an update an now runs on the latest OS. You also get drive modes (eco, normal, sport) with a shift dial that’s placed on the centre console.
The Bluelink-connected car tech now gets over 60 features including Alexa and Google Voice Assistant support. The infotainment system also gets a new sound of nature feature, while the voice assistant can now understand 10 regional languages.
Other features include a wireless charger, integrated air purifier that’s placed inside the centre arm rest, 2-step reclining rear seats with 40:60 split and adjustable twin head rests.
Powering the 2022 Hyundai Venue facelift are three engine options – an 1.2-litre petrol with 83PS and 114Nm, 1.0-litre turbo petrol with 120PS & 172Nm and a 1.5-litre Diesel engine with 100PS with 240Nm. The 1.2-litre petrol unit is paired with the 5-speed manual gearbox, while the 1.0-litre turbo petrol can be got with either a 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT. The 1.5-litre diesel is available with the 6-speed manual gearbox.

The car is available in six variants – E, S, S+, S(O), SX and SX(O). The 2022 Venue is available in seven body colours – Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Denim Blue, Phantom Black, Polar White, and Fiery Red. There’s also the dual-tone Fiery Red option with a Phantom Black roof.
