LIVE – BMW Launches the i4 Electric Sedan priced at Rs. 69.90 lakh
BMW has launched yet another All Electric car model in its lineup with the i4 Sedan. The i4 EV Sedan is priced at Rs.69.90 lakh and will be available as an Completely Built Unit (CBU). The BMW i4 is available in single variant which is the eDrive40. The i4 joins the flagship iX electric SUV and the Mini Cooper SE on BMW Electric portfolio lineup.
In terms of looks the All Electric version of the BMW 4 Series looks more or less similar to the 4 Series sedan. There are a few changes on the EV version the i4 which include large air dams at the front, a large grille, and the car rides on a new set of alloy wheels. Dimension-wise, the i4 e-sedan measures 4,783mm in length, 1,852mm in width, 1,448mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,856mm.
On the interiors you get a dual-screen set-up, which includes a free-flowing 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch digital driver display. The i4 comes with the latest generation BMW i-Drive 8 user interface.
The BMW i4 is powered by an 83.9 kWh battery and an electric motor producing 335bhp of power and 430Nm of torque. It’s a rear-wheel-drive configuration and the car sprints from 0-100kmph in just 5.7 seconds. The BMW i4 has a WLTP range 590km on a single charge making this the longest range EV for India.
