LIVE – Toyota Vellfire Hybrid Launched at ₹79.50Lakh
Toyota Kirloskar Motors today Launched The Toyota Vellfire , Self-Charging Hybrid EV in India at an introductory price of ₹ 79.5 Lakhs. 180 Vellfire’s have been already booked as per TKM officials.
The Vellfire aims to brings a powerful driving experience while ensuring low fuel consumption and carbon footprints to the table.
It comes with a 2.5L , 4 cylinder Petrol Hybrid engine which puts down 115 bhp (86 kW) of power and a max torque of 198 nm as early as 2800 rpm all the way to 4000rpm. The engine is coupled with two electric motors, front motor – 105 kW and rear motor – 50kW with a Nickle-metal Hydride hybrid battery . It is said to run 60% of the total usage purely as an EV . It is expected to deliver a fuel efficiency of 16.35 kmpl. This all is put down to the road via an Electronic AWD system.
The Vellfire commands an imposing road presence with its Bold and luxurious Exteriors. The front strikes the eyes with a single Ingot- Shaped Grille design , aggressive triangular fog lamp bezels and two square projectors with blue accent extensions and chiseled body structure in the headlamp. The power sliding door on the sides and twin moonroofs on the top make it all the more majestic in the looks department .At the rear the two part combination lamps looks immaculate. It sports 17 inch chrome alloys.
The interiors is where this luxury lounge really has it’s strong foot . It comes with two large Executive Lounge seats in second row which come with wide headrests and expansive individual armrests . These are of course powered and can be adjusted to slide , recline or turn into a flat bed at the press of a button. The seats are also both cooled and heated and come with 2 memory options . Individual tables are also the part of the package.
The entire vehicle has a Genuine Leather Upholstery, 3 zone climate control , 16 – colour ambient roof illumination . Sun blinds are available for the 2nd and 3rd row. The lounge has twin moonroofs and VIP spot reading lights. Sports individual controls in both seat’s armrests . The acoustic glass is green tinted.
The Vellfire comes with a 17 speaker JBL unit with a 10inch screen upfront and 13 inch rear ceiling screen with HDMI and WIFI . The infotainment system supports both apple carplay and android auto.
With all the luxury features on offer the Vellfire does not sideline the safety . It comes with 7 airbags, Hill start control , Vehicle Stability Control and Vehicle Dynamics Integrated Management system which provides feedback to the vehicle based on real time vehicle performance.
