2019 Suzuki Hayabusa Launched at Rs. 13.74 Lakh
Suzuki Motorcycle India is ending their 2018 on a high note, they have launched the 2019 Hayabusa in India today and priced it at Rs. 13, 74,364 Ex showroom Delhi. The iconic superbike from Suzuki will be available in two new colour schemes – Metallic Oort Gray and Glass Sparkle Black with updated graphics, and an added pair of side reflectors for Indian conditions.
Suzuki had earlier announced to phase out the Hayabusa for the European markets but the legendery Superbike will continue to sell in India along with the US markets. The Suzuki Hayabusa also called as GSX-R1300 continues to be powered by the 1,340cc inline-four cylinder DOHC engine that makes 199.7PS of power at 9,500rpm and kicks out 115Nm of torque at 7,200rpm. This super fast motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The SBK comes with the Suzuki Drive Mode Selector that lets you choose among three different preset engine control ride-modes. The Hayabusa braking duties are handled by 310mm twin discs at the front and 260mm twin discs at the rear. Suspension setup is taken care by 43mm KYB USD forks at the front and link-type suspension at the rear. The Hayabusa weighs 266kgs and was the first production motorcycle to touch the 300kmph mark that made it very popular and still has a huge fan following globally. The 2019 Suzuki Hayabusa will be imported via the CKD route and assembled at the SMIPL plant in Manesar, Gurugram.

The Hayabusa was introduced in 1999 and since then has been having a cult following as it was the fastest production motorcycle for long. In India the Busa as SBK owners lovingly call it got instant recognition after it was seen in the hit Hindi movie Dhoom.
