Royal Enfield to Open Online Sale for Classic 500 Pegasus Edition Tomorrow
Royal Enfield is all set to open the Online Bookings for the Classic 500 Pegasus Edition tomorrow, the initial online sale did not happen as per schedule due to a major server crash due to high traffic for booking the motorcycle earlier on the scheduled date of 10th July.
250 units of the limited edition Classic 500 Pegasus Edition will be up for grabs tomorrow at 4pm exclusively on https://royalenfield.com/pegasus at Rs. 2,49,217/- (on-road Mumbai). This motorcycle was unveiled earlier in May this year and the production is limited to only 250 units for India and 1000 for the overseas markets combined. The Pegasus Edition pays homage to the Flying Flea motorcycle that served the British Army during World War II.
The Classic 500 ‘Pegasus’ is inspired by the legendary RE/WD 125 Flying Flea motorcycle that was manufactured at Royal Enfield’s facility in UK during the World War 2. Conceived as a tribute to the Flying Flea and Royal Enfield’s military heritage, the Classic 500 Pegasus is a chance to own a piece of motorcycle history in wartime colour of Service Brown. Each of these 250 limited edition commemorative models will be available along with a set of bespoke military-style canvas panniers bearing the Pegasus logo, one helmet and a t-shirt from the Pegasus collection.
