Special Edition BMW M4 Convertible Edition 30 Jahre to be Produced
BMW has planned to celebrate the 30th Anniversery of the drop top M cars in style. It was in 1988 that the first M3 convertible was made. The Munich based car maker has planned a special edition of the M4 Convertible called Edition 30 Jahre. Only 300 units would be built for this special edition.
As per news tinkering out there would be two body colours to choose from. Macao Blue metallic and Mandarin II unit which is the yellow metallic shade. Other standard BMW goodies on the list include BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line for the kidney grill, Special side gills with model lettering, 20 inch forged M Light alloys in Orbit Grey matt finish.
On the inside the M4 Edition Jahre will get a two tone colour combination where buyers can choose between Black/Fjord Blue and Black/Silverstone. There would also be contrast stitching on the upholstry, seats, headrests and floor mats. Carbon fibre interior trims would also be a part of the interiors. The add more exclusiveity special lettering of 30 Jahre Edition will be imprinted on the doorsills, headrests and on the passenger side trim strip will have 1/300 numbering stating its serial number from the 300 exclusive special cars built.
Powering these Edition 30 Jahre M4 would be the 3.0 litre turbocharged inline-six engine with 444hp of power and 550Nm of torque pumping its power to the rear wheels. The Special built cars would also come with M Sports Exhaust system, adaptive M Suspension, with Sport mode and an extra sport configuration with stability control system DSC and Active M differential.
