Sixth Western H.O.G. Rally ends spectacularly at Aamby Valley
The Harley Owners Group recently ended their first zonal rally for 2017 with an unforgettable entrance into the Aamby Valley gates. The Western H.O.G. Rally had a pack of 700 riders from all over the country cruise into the Lonavala hill station to celebrate its 6th edition. Riders came in from all parts of the country with some coming from far off places like Dehradun, New Delhi and Guwahati.
The 6th W.H.R was led by the Seven Islands Harley-Davidson Chapter in Mumbai. It provided a mind blowing experience to H.O.G. members from across the country. The weekend was booked with an exciting line-up of activities, including everything from customization competitions to head-thumping music and even adrenaline pumping adventure sports jet skiing and rock-climbing, all of which reflect the real Harley culture. The rally saw strong participation from all Harley-Davidson Chapters, even the more recently launched ones like Foothills Harley-Davidson (Dehradun), Brahmaputra Harley-Davidson (Guwahati), and Red Fort Harley-Davidson (New Delhi).
The Dealer Principal of Seven Islands Harley-Davidson Chapter, Arjun Bafna commented on the event saying, “We were thrilled to host the 6th Western H.O.G. Rally to Aamby Valley, offering the H.O.G. members a one-of-a-kind experience. As a part of the H.O.G. Rallies, the riders have always explored new terrains and we are certain that we created yet another unforgettable experience for them.”
Sreedhar Raju, the Chapter Director of the Seven Islands Harley-Davidson Chapter added, “Annual H.O.G. rallies are a great opportunity to get quality face time with our brothers from across the country. Rally helped the Harley riders create some memorable moments while indulging in the adventure sports and fun games, exploring the open roads, sharing riding stories and bringing the H.O.G. brotherhood closer. After five successful editions, the 6th W.H.R brought together the biggest offline community in India.”
The traditional Custom Contest showcased a spectacular display of creativity and self-expression. Amongst the 11 riders who participated in the Custom Contest, Anindya Dey Sarker won the contest amongst 11 other participants, for customizing his Street 750.
