2022 Tata Tigor EV Launched at Rs. 12.49 Lakh, gets extended range & more features
Tata Motors has launched the 2022 Tata Tigor EV with prices starting Rs 12.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2022 Tigor EV comes with new features loaded to it, a new body color option and an extended driving range.
In terms of looks the Tigor EV design and styling remains the same. Powering the 2022 Tigor EV is the 26kWh battery pack as earlier, what has changed is the overall certified range by 10km to 315km. Power output on the Tigor EV is same as before that of 74bhp and 170Nm of torque. In terms of features the 2022 Tiago gets added features which include leatherette upholstery, cruise control, auto headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

In terms of safety the Tata Tigor EV comes with Tata’s ‘ZConnect’ connected car tech, tyre pressure monitoring system, and tyre puncture repair kit. Tata Motors has also said that for existing owners of the Tigor EV XZ+ and XZ+ dual-tone they would be will roll out a free update from 20 December offering connected car tech and a tyre pressure monitor. The XM variant in the Tigor EV line-up is now replaced by the XM variant. Moreover, the XZ+ Lux is the new top-spec variant which sits above the XZ+ trim.
