2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Launched at Rs. 8.35 Lakh

Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 Ertiga with prices starting at Rs. 8.35 Lakh. Maruti Suzuki has sold over 7 lakh units of the Ertiga that was first showcased at the 2010 Auto Expo. The 3rd Generation Ertiga launched today will be available in 4 trims LXi, VXi, ZXi, ZXi+ and  one trim for the fleet operators the Tour M. You also can get the 2022 Ertiga with the S-CNG option in either the VXi or the ZXi trim.

2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Prices: (Ex Showroom in INR)

One of the biggest change on the 2022 Ertiga is its engine, the 7-seater MPV now comes powered with an all new K15C dualjet petrol engine. This engine makes 115PS of power and comes mated to 5-speed manual gearbox or a new 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox with paddle shifters. Power figures are higher than the older engine by around 10PS. The 2022 Ertiga with the new 1.5L Dualjet engine  also gets a mild-hybrid system. It will come with integrated starter generator and auto-start stop system on it.

In terms of changes on the outside the 2022 Ertiga gets a new design chrome winged front grille, new design dual tone machined alloy wheels, back door garnish and chrome insert. You also get option of two new body colors to choose from – Splendid Silver and Dignity Brown. Changes on the inside of the 2022 Ertiga include new 7-inch New Smart Play Pro touch screen AVN system with voice assist, Suzuki COnnect with 40+ connected car features, new design dashboard with metallic teak wooden finish, two tone fabric seats.

Other key trademark features of the Ertiga continue to be offered like the one touch tumble down 2nd row seats with recline and slide mechanism, 50:50 split 3rd row seats, roof mounted AC, air cooled cup holders, front row armrest with utility box, power socket for each row.

The 2022 Ertiga also comes with cruise control, paddle shifters (automatic trim), driver side auto up window, auto headlamps, follow me home lamp, auto fold wing mirrors.

In terms of safety the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga comes with 4 airbags, ESP, Hill hold assist. Safety features such as Dual Front airbags, ABS with EBD and brake assist, rear parking sensors, 2nd row ISOFIX child seat anchorages, speed alert system, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder are equipped as standard fitment across all the variants of the Ertiga.
