2020 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross BS-6 Petrol launched at Rs. 8.39 Lakh
Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the 2020 S-Cross Petrol. The 2020 S-Crosss gets its power from the 1.5 Litre K series BS6 petrol engine. The S-Cross is the flagship model for NEXA the Premium retail division of Maruti Suzuki. Prices for the 2020 Maruti Suzuki S-Cross start at ₹8.39 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi) for the Sigma variant, going up to ₹12.39 lakh (ex showroom, Delhi) for the Alpha Automatic trim and will only be available in the petrol version.

Maruti Suzuki has also added new features to the 2020 S-Cross that include cruise control, LED DRLs, rain sensing wipers, auto headlamps and reverse parking sensors and camera. Other features include 7 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Smart Play studio. The2020 S-Cross also gets an updated premium interiors with Leather clad dashboard, steering wheel and seats. Other features include automatic rain sensing wipers, auto projector LED headlamps and Cruise-control.
Powering the 2020 S-Cross Petrolis the 1.5 Litre K-series BS6 petrol engine that makes 105PS @6000 rpm of power and a torque of 138Nm@4400rpm. Maruti Suzuki also claims a best in-class fuel efficiency of 18.55km/l and an improved cooling performance on the 2020 S-Cross. The 2020 S-Cross Petrol is now available with advanced 4 speed automatic transmission with Hill hold assist feature as standard with automatic variants. The S-Cross automatic offers fuel efficiency of 18.43lm/l. The 2020 S-Cross petrol is equipped with the latest generation Smart Hybrid system with li-ion dual battery system offering improved fuel efficiency, idle start-stop, torque assists functions and brake energy regeneration in addition to providing optimal acceleration and performance.

In terms of safety features the 2020 S-Cross gets auto-retracting outside rear view mirror (ORVM), auto-dimming and antiglare inside rear view mirror (IRVM), rear parking camera and gear shift indicator, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, rear parking assist, high speed warning alert, reverse parking sensors and ISOFIX child seat restraint system. These safety features are standard across all variants to ensure complete safety of passengers. Further, the all new S-Cross Petrol is compliant with advance safety norms including frontal offset crash, side impact and pedestrian safety.
The all new S-Cross Petrol is available with 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission. Automatic variants are equipped with hill hold assist feature, as standard.
