2020 Maruti Suzuki Ignis Launched with prices starting at ₹4.89Lakh

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the all new IGNIS, the smart looking car model was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2020. Prices for the 2020 Maruti Suzuki Ignis start at ₹4.89 Lakh.

The all new IGNIS exudes an SUV design with imposing front fascia, wide rear appearance and high seating position. Adding to the SUV character of the all new IGNIS are the striking rear spoiler, roof rails and high ground clearance. The comfortable and spacious interior and latest safety features enhance the driving experience.

The new IGNIS is powered by the 1.2 litre BS6 compliant petrol engine mated with manual and Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission options. This petrol engine produce 83 PS of power at 6,000 rpm and hits out 113 Nm of peak torque at 4,200 rpm.

Speaking at the launch, Mr. Kenichi Ayukawa, MD & CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “IGNIS enjoys a special place in the Maruti Suzuki NEXA portfolio and has been appreciated for its peppy drivability and spacious interiors. We have recognised an increasing preference for feature loaded cars that have SUV-like high seating position and dominant road presence. We are confident that the all new IGNIS with its SUV design and spacious interiors will appeal to the customers.”

Complementing its youthful appeal, the new IGNIS comes with two new vibrant colour options – Lucent Orange and Turquoise Blue and three New Dual Color options to enhance the excitement for the customers. The new IGNIS offers two premium customization options Acropolis and Scorcher theme.
